Chill...

Academy of Villains at WOD LA 2012.

Really dope experience, def the biggest WOD i’ve ever been to. So many dancers from different dance scenes, and different styles, it was a really good event for all styles of dance to be under one building.

This past weekend has totally changed my vision of what i thought the dance scene would appreciate and what they would enjoy, but the result of us doing what we love to do isn’t appreciated. Being the team that wanted to bring the competitiveness, the battle mentality, and the originality has been overlooked as who we really are. Although the result of the show is something that we didn’t want, we took blame upon ourselves as a team to come harder next time and win the whole thing. Instead of mistaking our dance characters as a real life persona. It is a competition, and we will treat it like a competition, until it is over. At the end of the day, congrats to everybody who represented, and placed. This was a wonderful experience for me, but now i realize how the dance scene perceives my team, and will continue to represent, and leave all the close-mindedness aside.

Yee.
